We have a set of features specifically built for recurring maintenance jobs like landscaping and cleaning. Generally those customers group a week’s worth of jobs together, organized by crew leader. Those grouped small jobs become a single ProPay goal for that period of time.
Protiv has developed a specific set of features of large jobs with what we call “Milestones”. Milestones can be phases of a project that have one or more cost codes. We allow you to track performance of each worker, on each Milestone. If a crew is ahead of budget at a certain phase, you can pay part of the earned bonus, retaining the balance in case they get behind later. It is very flexible as to how you want to manage incentives on these projects.
We find that quality improves, as your team understands that if they have to do rework, it costs everyone their bonus. This gets the workers to hold each other more accountable to quality standards. We also see many customers link preventative safety goals and requirements (tool box talks, PPE use, etc) to bonus payout. The team becomes incentivize follow your standards and best practices to prevent an injury in the first place.
